I've a resident at this complex for more than 5 years. Things have steadily gone downhill. In a long list of things that need to be addressed are:

A. $18 per month of top of your rent for water. That s a lot for single person residence.

B. Maintenance or the lack of it. Still waiting for several months for anew Kitchen light and ceiling repair. No response from management about this. Maintenance people show up dressed in baggies and tennis shoes. Not real good at their jobs either.

C. Parking lot trawling by the various tow-away companies. Residents should really think twice about this once. Park your car wrong and go way for a long weekend or god forbidd a real holiday and come back and find your car towed away. Yes it has happened. No, it's not legal according to the police. ONLY the police can issue a tow order. CATCH the tow company on the grounds with your car and call the cops ( their written instructions ) and don t let the tow-company demand money on the spot. That also illegal according to the police.

D. BUGS... Been trying to get rid of them for several months. Management has not responded to my requests for a real exterminator company to come in get rid of them. This is not an isolated problem here, but to be fair, it started sometime after Jan 1,08. Still working on this one.

E. Life in general here. Evenings and weekends when the kiddies are out of school and not supervised can be loud and long. There is no real place for children to play here. They tend to run all over the place being overly noisy. I cannot count the number of broken light fixtures by the front grill area that the monsters have done in. Definitely had some un-desirables living here at times. Count on the place looking bad after the Wednesday mail delivery of all of the junk mail that people deposit on the ground. Now people have decided that walking to the dumpsters is to far and have taken to leaving their bagged trash outside near the trash cans near the mail boxes and grills. Just lovely to see . NOT.....

F. Security. The gates have been broken for several years now and the land-lord in Calif refuses to fix them so anybody can drive in and out with out notice. I complained quietly for several years about this one to no avail. No security on the grounds at night that I see and I do shift work anal come and go at different hours all the time.

In general, I think that the absentee land-lord is waiting for the market to recover so that he can either dump the place or go for demolition and a condo re-build. This used to be a nice place. but now is less than average all around. We been though so many mangers that I dont even take the time any more to get to know them.
Called today and got someone that was having the first day on the job. No inspiring when you have a problem.
