Lived here for 1.5 years. I left mainly for a bigger place, but they were raising the rent which helped my decision. (Equity Residential posts their rents on their website.) I never counter offered given that I needed a 3 bedroom anyway.

I looked into moving to another ER apartment, but I couldn't pass up the move in deal at the Arboretum. (make no mistake, Mark-Taylor will raise my rent in 12 months they all do it.)

The Pointe Apts are on the fringe of the ghetto. There is crime, but there always will be in apartment complexes--gate or no gate. All in all the rent is fair, and for a low to medium priced complex the service is outstanding.
