Portofino apartment homes in Ahwatukee is one of the best places I have lived. The management staff is ALWAYS pleasant and friendly. They have been very accomodating to me at all times, even to deliver packages to me after hours! The lush landscape is always neat and trimmed, though it is a bit discouraging that the landscaping crew is cutting the grass starting at 7:00 AM every Friday morning. I guess that's the time to cut grass in the Arizona heat' There are two fitness centers with state of the art equipment. If you live next to the pools or spas, a word of caution: even though these facilities close at 11:00 PM, you can be assured that doesn't keep loud, boisterous tenants and others from keeping you awake into the late hours of the night. Management has been made aware of this problem and have recommended to several residents to contact the on-site security patrol or the Phoenix Police Department. As with any apartment living situation, you can expect some minor problems. Overall, Porotfino is an awesome place to live and the surrounding area is great. I would definitely recommend Portofino to everyone.
