I was a role model tentant at this apartment complex for 1year. I had issue after issue w/ the appliances in the apartment (which I rarely complained about) and paid my rent on or before the due date faithfully. When I left Presidio I was given a "parting gift" to the tune of $700-$800. Turns out the apartments renovate & remodel w/ their previous tentants security deposits & have the odacity to threaten to send you to collections if you do not pay ASTRONOMICAL cleaning fees...I have outstanding credit & don't want this to happen to anyone else!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR...DON'T DO IT!

I can't believe this review! Yes the property spent $750,000. updating the exterior of the property. They however did not use the residents anything! This person probably did not put in a 30 day notice or clean his apt. or broke his lease. Whoever you are I am sorry you are so unhappy but theres no way if these charges were bogus why didn't you take them to court and fight for your rights. This is ridiculous and so unfounded. I would never let someone ruin my credit and charge such an large amount plus 40% for the collection agency if it wasn't legal to do so, and I felt I was being legally wronged. There must be more to this. This is a great community and would recommend to anyone and everyone. Look in the mirror and ask yourself a few questions, remember you get what you give in this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked the apartment, but I thought the appliances were something from the stone ages. I decided with another complex with more state of the art appliances. If they update their appliances, it would be nice.

Same thing happened to me when I left. They hit me with a "cleaning bill" and "damage charges" to the tune of 800$ dollars 6 months after I moved and this was in addition to taking my entire security deposit. After receiving an unexpected collections notice, again 6 months after leaving, I called Trish asking for some evidence or pictures of the so called damages. Of course, she was unable to provide any and mentioned that I was being charged only because she had the power to do so. It is fairly evident that the sleazy Presidio staff will squeeze and threaten the tenants for every buck they can get even if outside the law. What a crock about the 750K upgrades. If the tenant deposit money is not going up Tricia's nose, then it seems very logical to me that this poster is correct about the Presidio staff using former and current tenant deposits as the funding source for renovations.
