We rented here for two years. During that time we have had multiple issues with our apartment. The first being our stove which we originally complained about a month after we moved in. Every time we wanted to cook something we would need to run back and forth to the breaker box and switch the breaker MULTIPLE times to get it to work. We complained numerous times about this and it wasn't until my boyfriend went into the leasing office speaking very loudly that we finally got some attention. They had the nerve to tell him they knew nothing about the multiple calls I've been making or the many work orders we've requested.

Other issues we had:

Our toilet overflowed once while we were gone and they had go in and fix it. Now I didn't have a problem with that (I actually appreciated them doing so) however, I did have a problem with the fact that we found out by our neighbor - they didn't leave a note or anything. Oh and my bath mat was placed in the bath tub.

We constantly could smell smoke from our neighbors upstairs who must smoke in their apartment (that must have been when they weren't beating each other - which I had to call the police about multiple times).

Parking sucks - you have your one spot which would fit a toy car but nothing bigger than that.

They say they are pet friendly but you need to walk long distances to the parks outside of the complex to find doggie bags.

They have what they call a "trinket" cabinet in the apartments which is nothing more than a cabinet that is missings it's front and back doors. It's ridiculous!!

Whenever we washed our dishes it left behind a white residue. Never even bothered to call on that! What was the point'

The outside lights were out on our building for two months.

Shootings happened twice in the building by us.

Do NOT RENT HERE!!!!

please know that I am stating facts that I know to be true through personal experience in living here for over a year...i am not posting the following information with poor intent, just want people who come to this site in hopes of finding a safe and happy home to know what I have had to deal with in my time here..yes, they may be cheap, but you get what you pay for! In order for my apartment to have ANY POWER, the smoke detector cannot work, something with the wiring, i suppose because of the age of the buildings... the ramifications are obvious there is mold EVERYWHERE, (which could lead to health problems for anyone living in conditions with mold)the rings of the toilets, window sills, under the sink, and HOLY FREAKIN COW, you should see the wall behind the fridge!! who knows where else it could be growing that i am unaware of you will hear gunfire probably at least on a monthy basis, that is because this area is heavily populated with gangs, not to say that that's the apartments fault, however you should know the reputation of the area regardless there's an older blonde lady in the office who is RUDE as can be, i am unaware of her name but wouldn't state it even if i knew it because she can't defend herself, but she needs a reality check and a slap upside the face, you just can't treat people the way she does and get away with it cabinets are so old they fall apart, closets are dented and constantly fall off track, the tubs take forever to drain, vents are yucky and orange crap leaks out of them appliances are as old as the hills, microwave-triple the time to cook the food item you want and even then, don't hold your breath, it might not even turn out dishwasher-no sense in putting them in a cycle, they'll come out with gross white powdery substance and you'll have to hand wash them anyway upstairs neighbors, you will probably hear everything, especially if they're freakin disrespectful elephants that walk with heavy feet and do their laundy at all hours of the night pools yucky, yard men come with leaf blowers and all at 6am every monday (right by the bedrm windows, lovely, huh?!)
