Terrible Lighting!!

I've lived here for two and a half years. For the most I've been satisfied. However, customer service has definitely gone into the toilet since the property was sold. The grounds don't look as nice and it takes much longer to get maintenance requests completed. My big complaint is the outdoor lighting. There are constantly multiple lights out, and they stay out for weeks, sometimes months. The grounds are not well lit at night. The lights at the mailbox structure at the Loop section has been out for nearly two weeks. It's completely dark there, and it's nearly impossible to find your mailbox. It's also very unsafe. I have left several messages for the management office, but apparently they are not concerned about this problem because the lighting has yet to be fixed. This is completely unacceptable, and I will not renew my lease again.

In your statement you said that you were refering to the loop side mail hut. I live here and have spoken with managment regarding the lighting issues and they have an electrician that is doing the repairs. To my knowledge the wiring is all underground due to the property being 25 years old. I find that management has outstanding customer service and i'm sure this was an unforseen issue so give them a chance to address it. Oh and you may find that if you are kind and respectful to people that you will get better results. Good rule of thumb.

I'm sure the office staff is happy to have such passive and non-demanding residents such as yourself. I've never been anything but polite and professional with them, but I'm afraid I'm not inclined to roll over and accept bad service and lame excuses like you are. The fact is the mail room lights were out for nearly a month. That was not only a huge inconvenience to a large number of residents, but it also created a very dangerous condition. I'm glad you don't have a problem with that, but you're definitely in the minority.
