where to start...
my boyfriend and i have been living here for five months now in a quiet spot (for the most part) and we haven't had anything broken into or stolen yet so that's a plus. We live on the south side of wakial loop and its the newer looking side, it has proven to be very benificial. My best friends boyfriend and his roomates live on the northside of wakial and their extremely overjoyed to be relocating the second their lease is up... they're moving to the sonoran apt complex.
back to the issues i've faced. we moved in durring august. we realized that the stairway lighting was not working. i'm nineteen and i dont need any additional stress, so my boyfriend talked to the leasing office and asked why the lights were not working and when they would be again. Their response was, "we're not sure, but we have someone coming out this week." a week later no change. he went back and asked the same question, their response was,"we're not sure, but the electrition is coming back this week." a week later the lights were working... durring the day, but not at night. so we tried again, their response was,"he's coming back next week" two weeks later they were working.
fyi. dont put anything in the night box... they've lost everything we've ever put in there.
our dishwasher broke and the first time they "fixed" it, it looked normal, except when we wanted to use it, it was more effective at cleaning the floor then the actual dishes inside of it.
maintence ppl park in your spot half the time. we have two cars and my boyfriend parks on the other side of the complex becasue parking rocks...
Oh safetys huge here... a huge waste of time to them... our apt backs up to the park, which is nice most of the time but one night i spent the night watching law and order through the screen glass bc i was too busy watching this guy get his car searched by 2 cops as he was chillin in the back of one of the squad cars. we watch drug deals go on on a weekly basis.
Atmosphere, its okay. i didnt realize it took 2 months to paint one building. oh, and their still not done. we've got paint on our sliding glass door, and it's taken them 2 weeks to paint all 12 doors to just my building. oh, am i the only on whose noticed that they rushed and painted the buildings facing the roads and anything that can be sceen by anyone passing by, but its been forever to complete just one building within the middle of the complex' odd.
i haven't had any bug problems, but when i use my blowdryer the lights in the whole place dims to where i cant even tell which part of my head im even drying.
and the microwave... its just another cubbord... i could warm my food faster if i just put it outside.
thats about it... the short list version.
ps, we're currently looking for a new place, either the sonoran or fairway.

hun, the same stuff goes on at sonoran and fairway...just read the reviews on those apartments...such similar responses...but this whole area has become horribly unsafe
