Roxanne, If you'll look at the number of reviews posted for Presidio vs. the number of reviews posted for apartment complexes in the area, Presidio has many more reviews than anyone else. Where the other complexes have 20-50 (or less) reviews, Presidio has well over 100. Some have almost no reviews. Common sense tells me that people who are satisfied with their apartment don't generally seek out websites where they can post reviews. Apparently a lot of people are passionate enough about their experiences here to actually take the time to seek out a site like this to vent. Based on the timeframe and content of the reviews, its not likely that only a few disgruntled residents are responsible for all of them. It seems pretty obvious that many of your residents are unhappy with the property and the way complaints are being handled. To simply dismiss them and then give a glowing statement about how great the property is does a disservice to your residents, and ultimately to Waterton. Eventually you will lose your responsible tenants who pay their rent on time and don't cause any trouble, because these are the tenants who have options and will not sit still and accept bad service. They will be replaced by people who, because of their bad credit, bad rental histories and/or lack of funds, don't have any other option. Actually, that seems to already be happening. If you're smart, you will take this opportunity to reflect on what you and your staff are doing wrong and what you can do to make things better instead of just dismissing complaints and blaming the renter.

Way to go Sandra! It's really frustrating how apartment complex managers like to keep their heads in the sand and blame the unhappy tenants for their problems rather than take responsibility themselves. It was just like my old complex the Saddleback run by Benard-Allison. The unhappy tenants move out and the irresponsible tenants become the norm there.
