I've spent the last 30 minutes reading negative posts about this complex and I will say that there were good and bad things about living there. I'll start with the good things. I don't feel like I was tricked at all, the model I was shown was rather similar to the unit I moved into. I walked through before I signed my lease, which I recommend you do before you move into any complex. I asked for new appliances and for them to take out their washer and dryer, as I had my own. When I moved in everything I requested was done the way I asked. The staff tended to any issues that arose very quickly (the old management). No one ever parked in my parking spot, the grounds were well kept, and my neighbors were relatively respectful. However, as with any apartment complex not everyhing is perfect and Presidio is no exception. It was just my daugther and I so safety and security were a big concern of mine. For the first few months everything was perfect, until I saw a scorpion in my kitchen. I complained and they(new management)sent an exterminator out, but more scorpions started showing up. On top of that people were letting their pets go to the bathroom right outside of my kid's room and not cleaning up, I complained and nothing was done. They actually tried to fine me for the dog crap outside of my unit and I didn't even have a pet. I moved out a month ago and still haven't recieved my deposit back. I've called to see how much I would be getting back and for an itemized list of what they were keeping, I haven't recieved a call back. I stopped into the office last week and was told the person I needed to speak with was in a meeting, I still haven't recieved a call from her. All I recommend is that you do your homework, ask current tenants for their recommendations, and don't sign anything until you feel comfortable.
