The worst place I have ever lived

It's and apartment, generic, with pallid walls. Four walls and a roof, fine. It's a generic complex like any other in Phoenix.
Not only is parking horrendous, with guests of mine being towed from places without a sign. When I talked to the front office, all I get is a blank stare and a half-hearted apology. Nothing to rectify the situation.
When my car was vandalized not once, but TWICE, I got to the front office and all I get is an apathetic shrug.
I would recommend this place if you want your car to be vandalized and towed, without the front office even batting an eyelash.
Without a doubt, the absolute WORST place I have lived. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT LEASE FROM THIS PLACE. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

I live in a very nice neighborhood in north scottsdale, we have had cars locally vandalized as well...and stolen. This is Arizona, we are tops on these lists. The grass is not always greener on the other side you know. And I dont see how your car being vandalized is the apartments fault? What would you expect them to do, pay you for the stolen items or things that you say were damaged...even your insurance company wont do that without some proof of items stolen. And then you will have your deductible.....And a tow company will not tow a car from a spot without a sign...they take pictures...so, if you feel that the car should not have been towed from the questionable spot, talk to the tow company and request pictures...if you are correct, then you can prove your case; I am guessing you were parked illegally......

It is understandable what you are saying, however, a sprawling apartment complex that faces a public park on one side, and an open arroyo on another should have some level of security. Cameras, perhaps a guard or two. When I told this to the staff, they told me they would 'look into it.' When I talked to the police about my problem, they knew exactly where I was, because they told me cars were vandalized and stolen there all the time. For a place that is so succeptible to vandalization and theft, you would think the apartment complex would put their best fut forward and try to rectify the situation.
As far as the parking goes. They paint a red stripe with no sign whatsoever in a space with two white lines on either side. Every other part of the apartment complex painted red on the curb had a clear sign labeled "fire lane - tow away zone." This one did not. Every day, all day, there is a car parked in this spot. And once a month, the tow-truck company comes by and tows whoever happens to be in that spot. The spot makes no sense, and when I asked the manager why they towed me, he said it was for safety reasons. And when I told him that because someone is parked there 90% of the time, it is only safe when the car is towed, therefore making it more dangerous, he said he would talk to the tow-truck company. I will admit when I am at fault. But I am absolutely not at fault. Just read the other reviews. But I digress...
