I've lived here a year and can not wait til my lease ends. I have neighbors that have lived here for 5 years and they have said that each year they've lived here the complex keeps going further downhill. The management company is horrifying! They have a faster turnaround in staff of any place of business I've ever been in. I had a number of maintenance issues wrong with my apartment including and broken toilet that prevented me from moving in to my apartment for 5 days! And it took 3 months of them continually coming back to "fix" it until they decided they should replace it. So I went 3 months with having a somewhat functional toilet that drove me crazy! Then in the middle of the summer my air conditioning breaks down every single day for A WEEK! And every time the maintenance crew would come fix it, it was 10pm, 12am, 1am, 2am in the morning!!!! While I sat and suffered in the sweltering triple digit heat. Then when I called management to tell them what was going on and ask for a discount off my rent I was told NO because they gave me $50 off when my toilet was broken and had to be replaced. A SITUATION completely seperate from the air conditioning but because I already received money off I couldn't get anymore. WHAT A JOKE!!! Talk about HORRIBLE customer service. Not to mention the pool right by my apartment was CLOSED from August til February because the complex couldn't get their stuff together and get the fencing fixed to meet AZ state law code. So when my air conditioning was broken I couldn't even go cool off in the pool because it was closed! And the hot tub was also broken since August as well, and just got fixed in the last week of April. They also do not enforce people picking up after their dogs feces and it's EVERYWHERE. So don't walk around in the grassy areas because you're bound to step in it! For the price and terrible free parking availability this place just doesn't have the kind of quality you could get for less somewhere else. Go with an apartment complex who's management company has a REALLY good reputation.

Welcome to Ah-Watts-Tukee! Presidio is Ground Zero for the new southeast-side ghetto. It's been going that way by design ever since Millstone Management took over about a year and a half ago. The good managers were moved over to Villas when they were split off from Presidio last year. Get out of there as soon as you can before you get mugged or killed by a gang-banger.
