Make sure you want to move there before you give them any money. I was told to leave a check and it would not be cashed because they needed a money order. I was also told my deposit was fully refundable. Two days after I gave them a check I went to pick it up I was told its already been taken to the bank.

I later told the landlord, I was not given proper information and I would no longer be able to afford the apartment. I asked for my money back. I was told you don't get your money back.

I talked to their property management, Milestone. I talked to Shelly 2 times all the other calls have been unanswered and the multiple promises that the District Manager would call me, never happened.

I decided to call the Manager at Presidio. She immediately said "you have been dealing with my district manager and you are not getting your money back" I asked her why I couldn't get my money back. She then said "I don't have time to argue with you. You falsified your application" I then asked her to get my application and explain how I falsified it. She put me on hold for over a 1/2 hour then hung up the phone. Never backing up her claim, I called right back, but she had gone home.

I am very grateful I never moved in to this complex. I think of what problems I am having just getting my deposit back. What kind of problems would I have had if I actually moved in.

Don't bother complaining to the city about them. I already did that over another issue. The City of Phoenix does not enforce its (or the state's) housing laws, especially when it comes to ghetto complexes. Your only option is to sue.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I think suing is the only choice I have.
