I lived here for 2 1/2 years and really seemed to enjoy it at first. The surrounding neighbourhood is very nice and safe to walk in at night. The giant plus with this place was that it was set right smack dab in the middle of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve City Park and Natinal Trail. I loved this. I didn?t feel like I lived in the middle of a metropolis at all. If I wanted to hike or climb a mountain it was literally right outside my door. The grounds were kept very beautiful. The ---- really hit the fan when the new management took over. The office staff are some of the most rude, neglectful, immature, and stupid people I?ve ever had the disdain of meeting. Three seperate times they lost my rent check and tried to charge me a late fee until I had to prove my case those idiots. THREE times!!! They also managed to lose my moving notice and weasled another months rent out of me. Now I?m not sure about you, but if I?m going to pay a months rent, I?m not going to abandone the property. I?m going to stay put. The real kicker is when I was walking out of my bedroom to find a rental associcate standing in my apartment with a happy new couple with a shocked look on their face. "You?re not supposed to be here", she said. "yes I am", I retorted, "I paid for another month. "But this moving notice said you?re supposed to have moved 3 weeks ago", she said. AHA! I thought, they did having the freaking thing the whole time. Needless to say I tried to get my money back for the month back as a result of their major blunder, but alas, it was in vain. The worse part about that was the delay to move to Michigan of a month. The area is so convenient and beautiful, but if you can?t stand insolence, then I don?t know what to tell you. Their maintainace crew is top notch, though. Grounds crew is aanother story.
