I love my apartment -- the layout is great, and it gets a lot of light. It's quiet with a lot of ammenities and is very nice for dog-owners -- lots of safe places to walk dogs, friendly pet policies, reasonable pet rent. The only downsides are a steadily decreasing quality of maintainence and an increasing rental rate.
