EDITED 5/11/07: While they no longer seem to do the gardening every Thursday at 7:30am, they now spread it out over the course of several days a week starting around 9am. I'm sitting here watching this guy blow leaves from the right side of the courtyard, to the left, back to the right, then to the left. How long does he plan to blow the same pile of leaves back and forth''' I'm a very patient person. It takes a lot to upset me. Loud noises in the morning several days a week is my trigger.

On a good note, this place has been doing a LOT of improvements lately. They resealed the parking lots, are repairing the roofs, and I've never had a single problem getting someone to come help with repairs in my apartment.

While this place still rates high on many MANY points, quiet it is NOT.

I've only been here a relatively short time, but I'm going insane every Thursday morning. They have the landscaping company come out and use leaf blowers starting between 7:30 and 8:00 am EVERY SINGLE THURSDAY! Right under the windows - up to the front doors. It goes on for HOURS! For christ's sake! HOW MANY LEAVES could they be blowing away' To think that part of my rent goes to pay for these landscapers who basically do nothing but blow around a few leaves for HOURS every single week!!! This wakes up my entire family. I sleep later because I work at night, but every Thursday its like getting ice water dumped on me. The kids HATE it! This is a complete waste of MY money! Why can't this place use their funds on thing that are actually needed for once!!!

And why have a gated community if the gates are ALWAYS left open''' No wonder there are always cops here lately.

All those complaints aside, there are a lot of good things here too. It just seems like the bad overshadows it when you're rudely woken up by a leaf blower outside your bedroom window.
