I absolutely love living here. When we first moved in, we lived above some tenants who were extremely sensitive to noise, and well, while the walls are thick, the floors are not--as we can now confirm, as the front office has kindly relocated us from our old upstairs apartment to a downstairs apartment by our request, since our downstairs neighbors were a little.....different, liked to disturb us, and made us uncomfortable. You can hear the sliding glass door above open and close as if it were happening in our apartment, and we hear some pretty loud bangs/running/scampering/who knows what... but, luxury apartment or no, it's still an apartment, and it's all normal living noise, so that's pretty standard, and my husband and I are pretty laid back about noise, so it doesn't really bother us much. Sometimes there will be like, a super, super loud bang or thud, and then we'll kind of jump, but it doesn't happen very often, so we really don't care. In the first apartment we had here, we had virtually NO BUGS. We probably found maybe like 7 the entire time we lived there... and like 4 of those were nearly microscopic spiders, and 3 were random super, super small silverfish. We've been in the new apartment for a little over a month now, and NO BUGS WHATSOEVER! It's amazing! Our last place had a shitload of small roaches. The apartments are spacious, nice, and affordable. The apliances work just fine. Minor things will break here and there but maintenance is excellent about fixing things right away. The front office staff is super nice, and very accommodating. The grounds are beautiful, and the pools are sparkling clean. Maintenance always waves to me when I walk or drive by, and the other residents are friendly and kind for the most part. Parking isn't horrible, but then again I'm from Southern California, where parking is always really bad. The surrounding area is gorgeous, there are hiking trails across the street, but my husband and I prefer to walk around in the surrounding neighborhood at night for exercise, because it's beautiful, quiet, and very, very safe. People don't always pick up after their dogs, but it's not a big thing. I don't care, anyway. The gates are only open on one side during office hours, and then they are closed at night, and we haven't had any car break-ins or sketchy people hanging around our vehicles like at our last apartment complex, so that's been really, really good. Umm...my parents, who have a gorgeous 5-bedroom house said that our apartment complex/our apartment is like a hotel, and they always feel like they're on vacation when they come to visit. My husband and I considered staying at the Pointe Hilton just up the hill for our anniversary, but drove around inside there, and decided that we thought our apartment was nicer, and had a much nicer atmosphere than the HILTON....... so.... I guess you could say that despite our issues with our previous neighbors and all of that nonsense (and I think you'll be likely to find some pretty "interesting" people anywhere you rent), we freaking love it here.

Hummmm. . . Sounds like management responding to all the negative reviews in their own sneaky way.
