....the staff here seems to prefer renting to dirtballs. There is dog crap everywhere, cigarette buttes everywhere. It's ashame b/c the place has great potential.

If you can put up with the dirtballs and trash, then you will prob like it here. They did get new washers and dryers that work great but they are repainting the buildings and they look terrible.

One plus is the location...very convenient to get everywhere in Phoenix. This place is ok if you need someplace to live on a temp basis but I wouldn't call this place home.

Car break-ins seems to be a problem here lately

Manager's Response

Here at Rancho Sierra, we do our best to ensure the community looks it's best. Our maintenance staff conducts property duty every morning to pick up anything left behind the previous night. The office staff conducts property walks frequently to complete patio notices and notices for those not complying with the setforth policies. Unfortunately, we are not always able to catch those not complying with the rules and regulations however, we encourage residents to contact us if they see someone not complying.

All of our residents must complete the same application processes to be approved for an apartment. We pride ourselves on our criteria and processes and hope to uphold a standard of living acceptable for everyone.

We have recently renovated our laundry centers and they now contain brand new washers and dryers as of October 2007. In addition, we have recently completed an exterior painting project and we have received many compliments on the improvements. Unfortunately, as everyone has different interest, not everyone likes the same colors; however, many residents love the new look!

Finally, in regards to the car break-ins, please feel free to read the other responses we have submitted as well as contact the Phoenix Police Department for the area crime stats. We are available to answer any questions or concerns that residents or prospectives may have.

Yeah so they got new washers and dryers and they charge a dollar to wash and dry but you have to pay five dollars for a card to load money on. Which means you need a credit/debit card to load money on it and you must put at least ten dollars on it. It is cheaper to go to a laundry mat down the street.

I have lived at Rancho Sierra for quite some time now and I would recomend it to anyone. Its a great place to raise your childern at and the staff and property managers are great! I dont think i will ever move i will probably retire here and spend my life at Rancho Sierra, dont listen to the other people here. They know what the apartments look like before moving in. They could have left their lease early and are now bitter about the charges.. signing the lease is a commentment to FINISH your lease,, which is why you have the option to month to month 3, 6, 9, & 12 month leases!
