Not worth it!

You might think everything is fine at first, but they really get you if you move out. First off.. the apartments are like 30 years old and falling apart. After you tell them your moving out you are an instant enemy. Then after you move they send you a bill to clean the dirty old apartment that was like that from the beginning. I thought all apartments were supposed to clean the place after a moveout anyway. That tells me that someone was pocketing the money. I wouldnt recommend living there. Its also a hub for criminals and drug dealers. When you can smell marijuana coming from the staff apartments it won't impress you. Talk about setting an example. The owners of the property should wipe out the existing staff and start fresh with a clean slate.

You lived there for THREE YEARS- you couldn't have been that disappointed. Obviously sour grapes after you moved out and got charged for damages and leaving a big mess.

The same management wasn't there the whole time. I was satisfied at first but all the crime turned me off. I am a respectable renter and your information is based on stereotyping. Wouldn't surprise me if you worked there. You should be typing away because your job is in jeopardy.

That is not a fair response. It takes a lot of money to move and I myself lived here for 5 years and hated every second of it. I didn't have money to move so I was stuck. I left my apt spotless and I was charged hefty fines for moving out. Not to mention all the crime, I had my car broken into among other things its just not safe.

I had the same problem. I lived there for a couple of years and had to endure constant water shut-offs "without notice" and lots of shady activity. I left my apartment way above cleanliness standards and still got charged. My next-door neighbor got held up at gunpoint. I was afraid to step out of my apartment after that.

This is one of the safer areas of town. I lived there for two years and never had a problem with theft or any other crimes. I must say, the water thing was a pain... I appreciated the lack of notice, especially when I got up to shower for work and found no water! The management changed several times while I lived there. Some of them were better than others. I had an issue trying to get my lab moved in there because their dog policy is small dogs only... yet I saw MANY large dogs living there.
I also had problems with them trying to charge me for pet stains even though they were REPLACING the carpet in my apartment when I moved.. and as stated above, what is the NON-REFUNDABLE PET SANITATION FEE supposed to cover if not sanitizing between pets and people?? And the carpet cleaning fee... shouldn't that go towards CLEANING the carpet? Bottom line - there was a pet odor when I moved in and I saw why when he pulled the carpet when I left. BE SURE TO MARK EVERYTHING ON YOUR INTAKE FORM!!!
The heated pool rarely worked and the hot tubs are also often on the fritz... overall though it was not the WORST place and was comfortable for a while.
