No, I'm not management (although, I suppose all management would say that). Actually, I'm a teacher, and one of the reasons I like it is that they offer a teacher discount. The staff that I have met are friendly. Virginia is especially helpful. Management isn't perfect, but they do a lot to make it a better community - they issue a monthly newsletter, organize regular community events, have a weekly early-bird drawing, and even remembered my birthday. Also, the maintenance is very prompt. For both of the work orders I have filed, they came out within two days, left a written inventory of what they did, and management even called to follow up. I also enjoy my balcony. Granted, it has a great view of the mountain, but I also appreciate that I can have plants and still have enough room for a couple of chairs. Some things that I don't like are my recent change in neighbors - these new ones are much louder. I haven't filed an official complaint with management, but if I continue to hear them, that will change. I also don't like all the cats around - Bob Barker them, people! The community isn't gated, but honestly, I've lived in a couple gated communities, and the gates really don't do a lot of good. Actually, they were kinda a hassle... Anyway
