I've been living here for about 4 months now. I'll just say, it could be a lot better...but could also be a hundred times worse. Sure the traffic is bad, but it's getting to be that way anywhere. The construction a few months back made getting into the complex a huge issue, but now that it's fixed I usually have no problem getting in or out. The neighbors we've had have been good, quiet, and we pretty much never see them.

Parking. Is atrocious. Unless you only have one car and never plan on having guests over. Or if your a pedestrian. I live with 2 other people, we have two cars, one parking spot, doesnt quite even out. One of us usually ends up parking on the opposite side of the complex. And that's if we're lucky. Most times we're stuck parking out back on 9th street. There's also the constant problem of uhauls, delivery trucks, cleaners, etc. either in or blocking our ONE parking spot.

Noise. Rarely ever a problem. The most noise I've heard was when there was construction on both 7th and 9th streets, that was a nightmare, but like I said before, the construction is gone, so not a problem. I never hear my neighbors at night. You hear kids during the day, sure, but that's expected anywhere.

Grounds. Nothing to complain about. Parking lot is kept clean, grassy areas are pretty well maintained, park/playground well kept, pools clean.

Safety. I'm ok with it. I spend a lot of time home by myself and feel perfectly comfortable with it. Although I'd feel a lot safer if the gates actually worked and the pedestrian gates had locks. Someone please tell me, whats the point of living in a gated community where the gates are always open' Ooooh, and I'm sure the nighttime rent-a-cop could find much better things to worry about than giving a man on a bicycle a speeding ticket (100% serious on that one!), such as perhaps doing something about the 8 cars lined up out front waiting for someone to open the gate'

Construction. Havent personally noticed any problems. But what's the deal with the stairs up to the back door/balcony' Not a very well thought out layout as far as that.

Maintenance. Now this is one problem that I do have. We have to call maintenance out several times before the actual issue is resolved. The last time we called them out we had 5 things that needed to be fixed, even left it in a list on the door for them. They fixed one. A lightbulb. They seem to always be doing random duties around the complex...while they're at it, how about fixing the gates'

Office Staff. Havent had to deal with them much, so I cant really say. The few times I'd talked to them though they've been friendly and helpful.

Overall a decent place to live. =]
