These were the first apartments I ever rented. At the time I was a 20 year old female working college student and the leasing office knowing placed me above a known drug dealer and next door to another. I brought the "activity" to the attention of the office and and one employee told me that they already knew and the police had been involved for months and had been called several times. Within a week of moving in, in summer, the air conditioner and refrigerator broke and it took weeks of asking and and then complaining to repair and then replace the a/c and months for the fridge. Worse was the cockroach infestation. They were everywhere, from the food and fridge to the bedding and clothing. I called pest control every week and actually timed the exterminator when he sprayed for them, 15 seconds total! The final straw was being harassed daily by a family member of the neighbors below. Being followed up the stairs to my apartment while demands for sexual favors and money are demanded from a strung out man is not fun when coming home late at night. (Courtesy patrol did nothing.) Many times I couldn't even go down stairs and get my laundry because he or his friends would hang around on the stairs. The point to this long story is to tell you to avoid moving here at all costs. Management is horrible and tenants, many on section 8 when they don't need ot be, are not better.

RUN!! We have lived here for less than a year and have been approached several times by drunk or high homeless people and fellow tenants. They are supposedly cleaning this place up but it just seems to get worse. The a/c is always broken and even when it works its above 80 degrees in the apartment. We have on several occasions found used condoms and wrappers scattered in the front parking lot. On any given Sunday you can expect a variety of beer bottles scattered in the common areas and people going throught the trash. Don't be fooled by the new name, its still the same crap on colter,

I completly understand what yo went through here at riviera. I currently live here and have had my car stolen, air conditioning flooding or not working. Staff being rude, water being shut off with no notice.My lease is up in April & i'm looking for a place to go. I hope you found somewhere nice. I work for behavior health as a substance abuse counselor & my clients treat me better.
