Roosevelt Square formerly Post Roosevelt Square

Does anyone know how often apartments have to be "rennovated"' I live here and took over someone's lease from 2003 and the carpet is literally threadbare, and the flooring is horrible. I need to get out of my lease, due to life circumstances, but am fearful of the cost. . . . does anyone have any recommendations'

You could legally sublet the apartment by simply adding on a roommate and then signing a roommate release form letting you off the hook. Also, request maintence to look at your carpet and let them be the judge if it needs to be replaced but if it does they shouldn't have a problem doing so.
