I swear on all things holy I am not an employee of this place, but a resident. And yes, while this place has it's difficulties like ANY OTHER apartment complex, overall, it is a nice place for what you pay! It's actually affordable for my single girl self to live there alone in a very cute studio. To the people who are bitching about homeless people that may sometimes wander by or sleep on a park bench here and there...hello' You live in downtown Phoenix! This is not Scottsdale! Perhaps if you stopped turning your snotty nose up at them and actually brought them a bottle of water and treated them like humans, you'd find out they're not scary psychopaths, they're just people down on their luck that don't have an apartment like the one you ----- about. It really puts things in perspective when you complain about something like a burnt out lightbulb and people outside would give their right arm to sleep somewhere cool at night.
Anyhow, off my soap box. I just wanted to put my two cents in for anyone considering living here. It's fine! The apartments are cute, the pool and pool area is really nice (compared to some cement holes at other complexes), the gym is a nice extra to have even if it's not immense (you save $$ on a gym membership), there's free yoga classes, an excellent onsite massuse, and I've never had a problem with crime (just park in the garage and lock your door!). Common sense. And make friends with the maintenance man and you'll never have a problem getting stuff fixed in a timely manner!

Yeah, you totally sound like a shill for the people who run (not manage mind you, run) this joint. Yeah there are homeless people downtown but I really don't see people complaining about that, nor does anyone expect the "leasing specialists" to solve that problem. The fact is that when I lived there, I had a better chance of getting a undisturbed night's sleep on a park bench with the homeless than I did in the apartment I was paying $1300 a month for (see the numerous references to fire alarms going off in the middle of the night).
Anyway, all I can say is SHILL SHILL SHILL

I totally agree with you, shill-caller! The place is never secure. There are always gates and doors that are inoperable. Guests and delivery people can't get in, but boy-oh-boy can everyone else! Many, many cars are stolen and broken into, flyers are constantly being left on the doorstep (can you say NO SOLICITING?), and just recently, I was told about a home invasion at C building. The homeless people have nothing to complain about except the fact that they are not capable of getting a job and paying for a place to live. WE ARE HARD WORKING people who pay lots and lots of money to live in a place that we were told would be maintained as a luxury apartment home, but really looks, feels and smells more like a slum. When you pay over a thousand dollars a month for a luxury apartment, you don't expect the kind of crap that takes place at RS. The management office is full of liars who don't give a damn about the residents (with a few exceptions who don't make a dent because they are towing the line). If I had it to do over again, I would never rent here. For now, I am staying put because I don't want to move again so soon, but believe me, I am keeping an eye peeled for another place.
