If you're thinking of buying, THINK AGAIN!! We're very grateful that we didn't & decided to rent first to try it out. Although these are 'condo conversions', they are nothing more than apartments that had a cheap cosmetic face lift inside the units. We are the very first tenent since our unit was remodeled & sold. We rent from a private entity, not the complex. The closet doors do not work properly. One of the laundry doors do not stay on the tract & one is now permantly off. The 2 doors are different heights. The air conditioner was out last month for 3 days!! Per our repair man, they cut corners here & put units that are smaller than the recommended size as well as too small motors that cannot handle the work load, so they just stop working. Apparently, they pirate from unoccupied units to fix things around the complex. (Rob Peter to pay Paul, so-to-speak). Thus our ac bill is outrageous for the size unit we have! Not to mention the so-called insulation, NOT! Hopefully it will be better next month since it is brand new & the correct size now. The insulation is awful, thin pane windows. With the monsoon rains it sounds as if the windows may actually break! One night carpet installers decided to install carpet at an empty unit in our bldg at 2am! Then when the dog barks, we're out of compliance! They say they are 80% sold/occupied, LOL!!! It's like a ghost town! Go figure! We have friends who own, they have much difficulty w/ the home-owners assoc when they need something fixed. We're in-between, so it's even more fun, NOT! It's like most apartment complexes for renting, but BUYER BEWARE!!!! The pool area has 2 fountains that attract birds & there is much bird poop as well around the fountains & in the pool at times. No one keeps up with emptying the trash in the pool or lake areas very well either. There are no recycle bins, just trash dumpsters. Also, they will rent by the week as well as monthly, yearly. Some tennants are pigs & do not know how to clean up after themselves around the shared areas (pool, lake, etc). Don't expect the maintenance people to clean up, they may after it really piles up. Lately, there have been NO doggie bags in any of the despensers, including the one in the mini dog park for OVER a week. Those trash despensers are OVERFLOWING. I don't think these are even worth $100,000, let alone amounts they're asking! NOW the lake is looks like fungi is growing on it. My advice is if you're looking for an investment- buy a solid small house, townhouse or a condo, that was actually built as a condo! I'M NOTIFYING THE HEALTH DEPT NEXT. GOOD LUCK!!!
