Don't put TOO much stock in these reviews...

While good intentions may have inspired websites like this one, unfortunately the reviews are usually posted by bitter people who did not get their way, efforts to ignore the contents of a legally binding contract thwarted -OR- employees defending their personal/professional integrity. While the complaints may not be entirely unfounded, they are likely HIGHLY exaggerated. Notice that complaints are usually about 1) crime - which management has no control over; so what if your community is gated - what's to stop someone from piggybacking the resident's car ahead of them, or jumping the fence and driving your car out? Your management is not the law - if you see something illegal happening or someone you don't think should be there, CALL THE POLICE! 2) provisions of your lease - what, you don't read legal documents before you agree to abide by them? or 3) move out charges - did you honestly leave the apartment in it's original condition, considering normal wear and tear? Did you fulfill the terms of your lease? Was all of your crap out of the apartment?

Keep in mind, there are VERY strict regulations about charges that can be waived - it's called FAIR HOUSING!!! If you don't get what this means, it means what you do for one, you have to do for all!!!! If they don't waive your neighbors fees/fines, they can't waive yours. So suck it up and take responsibility for your actions instead whining like a little punk who didn't get their way. Read everything before you sign it and get copies after you sign it. Take pictures if you feel you need to. Magement won't argue with VALID documentation. And another tip - be civil...if you go in to the office with a raging snotty attitude, management is likely to respond in kind. And yeah, if you threaten to get an attorney, they are likely not to be intimidated because they have their own highly paid corporate attorneys, and with how strictly this industry is regulated, they're not going to try to screw you; it's not worth getting fired over.

Just my opinion, but that's what this site is for, right? lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
