Horrible Apartments ("Condos")

From: -Anonymous-

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006

We lived at the Springs for one year and were just recently forced to moved out because the apartments are being sold as "condos" called "Phoenician Pines". What a joke. They should be sued for putting the tenants through all the crap they've been doing while "renovating" the place. I gave birth in January 2006 and the day I came home from the hospital was the day they started working on our building. There was constant drilling, welding, painting, etc. going on right on our patio and later inside our apartment. And all of this was going on while we were trying to care for a newborn baby. They even came in for a week doing drywall and painting and I was basically held prisoner in my room with the baby trying to keep the dust and paint fumes out. The workers even used our electrical outlet on our patio to do most of the building. They would actually climb up onto our 2nd story balcony and plug their extension cord in while working on other units. They told us that we would be compensated, but we never were. So when I finally called the management office about it, their attitude was basically "oh, well." Then we got our 30 day's notice to vacate. They wouldn't even give us extra time knowing that we just had a baby. It was a horrible experience. I could go on and on with other things we've experienced, like having our gas siphoned, leaking faucets, appliances not working, etc., but I'd be writing a novel.

I really hope the place goes bankrupt. Please do NOT buy any of these so-called condos. The renovations are a joke. The green paint on the railing is already chipping off and the pink paint underneath is showing through. Whatever "improvements" they're making are being done in the cheapest way possible. Don't trust this place! DO NOT BUY AT PHOENICIAN PINES!!!
