There is just one work to describe this place: gross. It wasn't *too* bad when I first moved here but this place has gone downhill for the past year. Ah, where to start. The gates are always broken or wide open so all sorts of shady people wander around. The place is a wasteland, full of litter, nothing is being done, save for the useless guy shuffling dust around every couple of weeks. Parking is a nightmare, when only ten open spaces or so.
The swimming pool' Last time I went there, the water was slimy and smelly. There is no way I would take a dip in that (as it happened, the filter was broken, surprise).
Apartment maintenance' Don't bother. The staff has an attitude problem, be prepared to spend lots of energy and time if you want anything done in the apartment. Well, if you can manage to get a hold of them: nobody is there to answer the phone, and last time I went into the office, only one clueless temp was present.
I've also had a nasty surprise one day. As I was taking a nap, imagine my surprise when I woke up to find two strangers entering my bedroom (!) These were people sent by management for inspection, but guess what' I never received a notice. This place definitely not being the safest as outlined above, you can imagine how scared I got.
The complex is also home to the rudest people I've ever had the displeasure to meet. Some of these individuals will leave their kids screaming at the top of their lungs whenever they damn please, and will get agressive when you courteously ask for them to calm down.
I've been one day late dropping my rent check last month and came back home to a charming letter filled with threats at my door. So much for being a respectful, quiet, and financially responsible renter.
At any rate, I am glad my lease is coming to an end.
