I found this review to be untruthfull and it has an overtone of "I'll get even with you". I have lived continuously at the Barrington Regent and it's prior incarnation, Que Bonita for more than six years and certainly during the stay of this "anonymous" resident. I should specifically like to address the issues this individual has raised. " Get it in writing". Everything here is in writing, work orders, requests and most specifically, contractual agreements. It is all very clear and spelled out in advance. Things are also explained verbally: especially what would entail if one breaks the agreement.Problems are dealt with very promptly and everything is kept in very good repair. Landscaping is continuously maintained and many resident participate in gardening and planting. Parking spaces are regulated by law. These are neither the smallest or the largest I have ever used. I drive a minivan and find them quite adequate. Since the UPS man never uses these spaces, I am somewhat at a loss to figure out that complaint. We receive regular UPS deliveries and when not home, the office always takes not only our package but also dry cleaning and on one memorable occasion, a lost grandchild. I have not noticed a lighting problem in the stairways, which are external by the way, nor do we have safety issues. Not only do we actually know our neighbors, but our annual safety meetings with the Phoenix PD have a 75% resident turnout. This is partially due to the excellent cookies baked by our residents. Alas, our elderly resident population left over from the Que Bonita days has dwindled to a mere handful and we miss some of them very much. Our newer residents are very active in our community and spearhead our Halloween, Luau, Estate Sale and movie events. Our waiting list is longer than I would like as several of my friends have been waiting to get places at this location! I am not moving and I love my fish pond. I think this review was generated by someone who broke an agreement and was held to the contract.

I have a question. Why didn't the elderly population from Que Bonita days stay and why did they leave? and where did they go? I have never live there so I'm just curious.
