This is by far THE WORST...... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/22/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   I have been living at Bacara at The Canyons since April 2005, when my fiancee and I were pretty well 'duped' into sigining a 24 month lease. We thouhgt the longer lease would give us time to save money etc for a house. THINK AGAIN! We moved in when the construction for the buildings were not even complete. Our apt was one of the very first finished. The FIRST DAY we moved in, my entire kitchen,livingroom & dining room completely flooded with water leaking from the fridge that they did not put the time into properly connecting in their rush to get the building process over with. From there we developed craks in our walls, just randomly from the bad construction etc.-cracks in the stone type tile near our front door, for no reason again, just bad construction and workmanship. The Management here is a total NIGHTMARE! THe offices are full of ditzy-girls, there solely to drive in even MORE MMI kids to make noise. They have literally LOST our rent check TWICE and tried to evict us!!! This was cleared when ofcourse they 'found' the check on the floor one time and the other time still sitting in the 'safe', They then tired to still make us PAY THE LEGAL FEES of the eviction notices when they even admitted it was their fault!!! That didnt happen, again it was cleared up, but that just shows how outrageously STUPID the people running this place are!! The parking - YES- is TERRIBLE!! The people here are very rude and inconsiderate, JUST like the people in the OFFICE. I dont even want to continue down the list, you would be reading this for DAYS. JUST DONT MOVE HERE! I move out next month!! I am very happy to leave this junk- hole behind!- - By the way they dont seem to do any credit checks judging by the people they let in here- so it will however be the easiest place to get into- if you want to look at a good thing'' I guess have at it.
