The Hawthorne

City living at a reasonable price From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/13/2001 Years at this apartment: 1999 - 2003   The Hawthorne is a nice and well-maintained community. There are washing machines and dryers in unit. Also includes dishwasher, microwave, refridgerator w/icemaker and adequate counter space. Parking is ample and pretty well lit. There are no elevators since its comprised of detached buildings, so moving large or heavy pieces of furniture poses a challenge especially if you reside in one of the third floor apartments. The office staff is friendly, efficient and customer service focused, they're definitely people one would enjoy interacting with. Maintenance staff is fairly efficient, though it takes a few days for maintenance issues to be resolved. Community is close to I-17, SR-51, bus lines, and central business district. A nice place to live.
