I would not recommend this place. The staff in the leasing office are very nice and do their best. However, their corporate managment is entirely inept. They won't spend money to fix things and only allow maintenance to do patchwork jobs. The facilities are in need of major work and you can tell the company is unwilling to spend the money necessary. The units are nothing special, poorly insulated (resulting in high electric bills and plenty of noise from the neighbors) and the workout room sucks. The gates are always open, and given the high-crime area, they are inviting a lawsuit. The mailboxes are constantly being broken into. I know of two other residents who can't wait for their leases to be up so they can get out of here. Also, know that if you sign a lease, they are unwilling to work with you and let you out- for whatever reason. For what it's worth- stay away, and stay away from any complex owned by the same management company. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS

whoever wrote this comment is correct! The name of the Apt Complex I WAS in is MORNINGSIDE!! Off JAMMES ROAD AND WILSON BLVD JACJSONVILLE FLORIDA! The Place is terrible. My son and his Girlfriend first time renting had been taken in by the MODEL APT. The showed them the nice clean one. But were they in for a suprise. The Apt they were given was nothing like the model they were shown. The carpet was dirty...very stink...the walls had cracks in them and the bathrooms were dirty...they were suppose to have this all cleaned and ready to move in... well they moved in being that they had paid the money and was told the place would be ready... the apt had a water heater above them burst and leaked all over them. The carpet was really smelling now... called the front office and they said the man that did the carpets had THE APRTMENT COMPLEX MASTER KEY! and they would have to wait until MONDAY this was not an emergency!! this is what the Management at MORNINGSIDE said! Water all over the place.. but this is not an emergency...so my son son called the fire department because water was in the light fixtures!!! Have you ever known water and electricity not to be hazardous? MOLD IS ALL OVER THE PANTRY!!! TOOK PICS.... Date stamped so they could identify the time line... yeah..front office told my son that morning that they were NOT I repeat were Not going to let them out the lease... be it is not even 2 weeks... ha.. never say never!!! Took what I needed to a local television station... also my attorney.... well needless to say... Apartment is now empty... they did not move me... I MOVED OUT! With My GREAY CREDIT RATING STILL IN TACT....PLUS MY MONEY I GAVE THEM FOR THAT HOLE!!!! I will not ever rent from anyone more of their properties...I have excellent credit Guess what??? I am buying a house... :-) This time my son is taking me with him to make sure he does not get duped again... it is a shame that these property magmt companies take the rent but refuse to take care of the units. That is not a good thing, I am a proerty Owner. I screen my tenants and I have limited liabilty ... but I tell you I have never had a tenant complain that I do not keep the property up when they live...I keep it like I would keep my own home... Why should I ask them to live any different than me...
