The name of the community is now Zazu Pannee Park Regent and they call us Zazunians. No kidding people, this is no joke. And if you ever come here to check the place out, be prepared for the freak show. This place isn't half bad, I like living here. Lots of good ammenities like the sparkling pink fabric walled movie theater, fitness center and the galactic laundry room (yes, they call it that). But their choice of colors for the buildings and doors and stairways have me scratching my head. There are bright blue doors, taxi cab yellow, pea green, neon orange and pumpkin orange and my favorite, soft red. Not pink, soft red. Ok, so we have pretty much gotten used to that, but now we have to deal with the horrible color selection of the rails, balcony (sorry, garden terrace) walls and stairs. It's this terrible peach color, that matches absolutely nothing in this place. I would like to know what drugs these people were on when they chose these colors. It's very bizarre. Management is ok. They seem very stuck on themselves, like they're above it all. You walk in the office and the atmosphere is kinda like "oh jeez, what do you want". And at other times they can make you sick with their strained friendliness. Oh, and you have to put in a workorder several times before it gets done. They seem to lose the paperwork a lot. I don't think all of this is worth the rent they charge, but all in all, I don't mind living here. It's pretty cool, except for the funky colors.

I also live here, and I enjoy it very much. I have lived in this complex for several years (I lived here when it was called "Evergreen Terrace", and it was a nightmare then) and I find both the management and the maintenance staff to be courteous and helpful. I think the color choices and such are a personal taste thing, you can't please everybody. I think that the overall amenities that we enjoy here far outweigh the petty issues with design and paint colors. As far as the "Zazunian" thing, I'm really shocked at how upset people get about it. It's a tongue in cheek term that was come up with one evening and it stuck. I don't think it's anything to get worked up about.

I live here also, moved in at the end of May 08. Overall Im very happy with the staff and maintance, both are always super friendly and actually seem happy to see or hear from you. The colors dont make much sense to me either, the rainbow colored doors I like, but the peach staircases all over the place look silly. The insides of the places are cute but I think the rent is a little high for what you get.

Was recently looking at a number of complexes in the Phoenix area. I can't tell how rude the management staff was. A shame, as the property itself seemed relatively nice. Unfortunately for them, I would never give these people my money based on my short experience with them. If the ownership reads these reviews, they should be concerned about having the wrong people for the job.
