The Pinnacle at Shadow Mountain

Absolutly HORRIBLE!!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 2/28/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   The Pinnacle at Shadow mountain(now Crestone at shadow mountain)..... Home sweet NOT. This place has been a nightmare since day one. The staff was great when we signed the lease, after that they did not care anymore. They have actually gotten quite rude. The apartment is shambles. The first day we moved in, we found stuff the old tenants left behind. There were ashes in the fireplace and it looked like a bunch of ketchup on one of the doors. it was disgusting. A peice of metal flew at me from the garbge disposal and almost hit me in the face. And the appliances were horrible. First, The washing machine started leaking. We told management and they promptly sent a maintenance man who replaced it. The maintenance guy is the only nice genuine person that works here. The the dishwasher started smelling really bad and kinda smoking. The same maintenace guy recommended to the management that it be relaces and he tok care of that promptly as well. the vertical blinds are all broken and taped together. The bath tub will not stop growing mold no matter how often you bleach it. The linoleum was eventually replaced after several requests because the mold was coming up from underneath it. THe Heat/AC was not 100% reliable. we had to hae it recharged atleast twice. There is always a wierd black dust on top of the fridge. it too looks like mold. The shelf in the closet was broken- they did fix it though. The toilet was very wobbly and always ran. They fixed it. Originally with a block of wood wedged between the tank and the wall. Then the good maintenace guy did it right. everything is alrightwith the apartment now. Only after they replaced half the applainces and made about 15-20 trips in the first 4 months. Parking is is pretty bad if you have two cars. but not the worst the pools are always dirty and hardly ever heated. The only good thing about this apartment is that there is a safeway next door, and the one maintenance guy that did an amazing job and was always happy. I cant wait to get out of this place
