I moved in on 10/22, saw a few little bugs, killed them. started seeing more after the first 5-6 days. My son and I were getting bite. I figured they were fleas from the previous tennants. I bought bug bombs for fleas and set it off on 11/3. still had something biting my son and I. Called the front office on 11/6, they said the pest control guy comes on Wednesdays. Pest control came in on 11/8, sprayed, in my opinion pretty shabby job. still getting bit. I found these little black bugs, killed about 8 of them, saved two and took them to the front office on 11/10 around 9:30 am. They said they would have the pest guy come and look at them and give me a call. Well, I never received a call all day. I called the front office around 4:30 p.m, they stated, "oh, the pest guy came and looked at them and said they are ticks" And they would be out on Wednesday (5 days away) to bomb!!! I asked what was I supposed to do about my son and I getting bit.......the response, I'm sorry there's nothing we can do!! Unacceptable, I went and bought another bomb on the 10th. My son and I left the apartment for the amount of time stated in the directions. Came back found a few dead 'ticks' a cockroach and a few other little bugs.
I understand that there are bugs in apartments and it is hard to control them, but the attitude and lack of customer service was just terrible, unacceptable and I will never recommend this place to anyone. I will be writing a formal complaint to Equity Realty and also to Burn Pest control.
