The Loud and Unsafe Retreat on 27th Ave

I had the understanding I was moving to a safe and family oriented neighborhood. I agreed to pay a higher price for an upstairs pool view...bad mistake. I am up at night due to "young adults" who have no regard for residents. They are loud, drinking and performing shameful acts in the hot tub. Most of these young adults do not even live in this community. When I complained of disturbances occuring 1:00AM, 2:00AM and past 3:00AM, management's resolution was for me to call the office and leave them a message or to move. Instead of addressing the issue, I'M TO MOVE! Having to pay a transfer fee of $300. Other issues: security leaves @ 1:00 PM (why have security at all'), most of the gates to the property are broken and I know for a fact that there are residents who spent time in jail - doesn't The Retreat perform background checks' Last but not least, the landscaping company is wasting time by shamelessly halting the health of the grounds by "trimming" perfect tree limbs and hardly ever allow the flowers to bloom; waste of money and everyone knows not to cut a palm leaf unless it is totally dead. Shame on The Retreat Management or lack thereof. I pay top dollar for a safe home and peace of mind in my environment that The Retreat doesn't have the will to offer. On the flip-side I applaud the maintenance crew, who within 24 hours addresses equipment and other issues in the apt.
