I've lived in MANY different apartments in my life and I have to be honest and say Timbertree isn't the worse. But..there are some things I do have to agree about (other reviews) The roach problem is not a small one! We just can't seem to get rid of these dang bugs. And yet I have to say, I can't blame the managment for this problem. When we've asked for our apartment to get sprayed he was here right away (same day, first time)We've had the exterminatior here twice and he did a half baked job spraying, both times.
Noise level...My upstairs neigbor is LOUD! There are times I can tell you exactly what they are watching on TV or playing on the stereo. Are they really that loud or is the insulation that thin'
Office staff all seem to be quite friendly. Even though when I first moved in one was quite nosey. But never had any real problems with them at all.
Stray cats....yes! Lots of them! But again, that is just apartment living. I don't think there is one apartment complex on this planet that doesn't have that problem.
My one an only real issue is the condition of the apartment when I moved in. First, the apartment cleaners need to take a 101 class on how to clean an apartment! Because it wasn't cleaned. And the carpet shouldn't of been just cleaned, it should of been replaced!!! After living here a couple days all the old stains from the previous renter came back up. And I thank god that I own a carpet cleaner of my own so that I can make this OLD carpet look halfway nice!
All in all though, these problems arn't something you wont find anywhere else you go. It's called APARTMENT LIVING. No matter where you go you can find something you don't like. All in all I would have to say this is an ok place to live. And most the people who live here are really nice too. And quit (just not my neigbor hahah)
Yet we will be moving out when our lease is up. For the one simple reason, Our apartment is an OVEN!!! I mean really, you can set the A/C at 60 and the living room still feels like 85! And I just personly do not like giving someone else the control of when I can or cannot use the A/C.

My response to you is that you need to upgrade your style of living. Unless you lived in crapholes, Timbertree is not the standard nor the norm for apartment living. I've lived in apartments for 11 years now and I cannot say that I have ever had a roach problem, a problem with the laundry room, and noisy neighbors.
Really, the reason why they won't get rid of the roaches is because tenants just accept the situation.
I rented at Timbertree after accepting a job in phoenix and relocating. I didn't know much the apartments in phoenix. At first I thought it had to do with living in a big city. After talking to my friends who live in apartments and finding a new place I've realized this isn't true. You can have a nice apartments, without roaches, with working laundry facilities, good management staff, great custodial staff and quiet neighbors. That is apartment living.

I agree with the above post. I lived at timbertree for 4 years and every year it got worse. I never had any bug issues at all but I watched SEVERAL different managers come and go and the staff was always changing. Where I live now is WAY WAY WAY better. The apartments are up to date, clean, quiet, you control your own ac/heater, and the staff is amazing. If you want a good apartment come over to Cantamar they are amazing!
