When I orignally moved here I thought it was great. Quiet, new and clean. But as this apartment complex fills up you realize that most of the problems from this place are a result of design flaws and a lack of policies created to protect the renter. If you are a non-smoker, this place isn't for you. PARKING HERE IS TERRIBLE. If you rent a 3 bedroom, they still only give you one covered spot. Unless you are a single parent family, you should be given two spots. There are NO GARAGES available and if you care about your car, this place isn't for you.
If you like dinks on your car with no possibilty for a garage, then this is your place. If you like to open your windows and have smoke come into your apartment and fill up your home, then this is your place. If you enjoy hearing the slam of your neighboor's door EVERYTIME they leave their apartment, then this is you place. If you plan on having friends over to visit and halving them get their exercise because they have to walk a 1/2 mile to get to your apartment, then this is your place. If you like seeing motorcycles combined with a big truck cramed into a parking spot (this halving to drive through the tiny streets with occasional oncoming traffic) then this is your place. If you like seeing people work on their cars in the empty spots (despite it being a policy not to) then this is your place. They backed up the living rooms to each other in many apartments, so if you like hearing loud neighboors while trying to watch TV, then this place ROCKS.
This place would be great if they had the following.
NO SMOKING ONLY buildings available A better design for your front entrance so as not to hear the slamming of front doors A staff that is proactive and not reactive to any and all situations. Better parking.
I will be moving as soon as my lease is up, which is unfortunate as I really did like my apartment in the beginning. If Trillium would ask input from the residents about what to fix, I am sure this would be a better place. Until then, welcome to dorm living at a high price.
*** This is an updated review from last year - Still can't wait to leave - gotta love leases.

Agree with: lousy sound control, hear a lot of road noise, doors slamming and neighbors despite dual pane windows.
Neutral with: Parking, at times it can be dificult to find spots for both cars, but not usually.
Garages can not be expected at these prices.
Street sizes are typical
Disagree with: Smoking, you most likely just have a neighbor or two that smoke. I dont know of any apartments that dont even allow smoking on the balconies.
Additional Opinions: I would complain about loud cars/motorcycles. The apartment was much more enjoyable to live in when I first moved in because it didnt seem as crowded/noisy.
