I lived at Trillium for 6 months, and if I didn't move abroad for work, I'd still be there. The location is excellent, easy access to the 202 or 153 which make commuting into downtown Phoenix a breeze. The clubhouse is wonderful. A great place to hang out, meet other people, socialize, watch some TV or a movie in the theater, play some Wii, etc. There are always activities, like pancake breakfasts, poker tournaments, or some kind of beauty thing. My apartment was in the far right corner of the complex, so it was a bit far from the pool and clubhouse but I never had any problem with noise or parking. Also, I chose the 3rd floor because I know I am easily kept up by other people. Granted, there are no elevators so it is more of a pain to live on the third floor, but the only time it is a problem is move in/move out. The people around me were all young working adults, so I guess all the hard partiers live near the pool. I also never saw any litter around the complex. As far as the area, yeah its a bit awkward. The ghetto is next door, and there were plenty of fights that I could see from my window and called the cops a few times on. But that was all outside of the gate, and if you've ever lived in a major city before then its nothing new. But I also loved being so close to Papago Park. During the day, I had no problem running/riding my bike to the park. The unit was a bit small, but for what I was paying in my previous complex, it was comparable in size but a lot cheaper. Everything worked in my unit. The one time I had a problem with the dryer, it was fixed the next day. When I had to call security one time, they were there within 5 minutes. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
