My first impression of the establishment was that it was quite lovely. The grounds are landscaped and there really is an air of a nice community about the place but it's all very misleading. The apartments are small and would remind you more of a cheap hotel room rather than an apartment. The walls are paper thin and if you don't want you door beaten down by a complaining neighbor you better turn everything off and sit quietly still after 8pm...even on Fri. or Sat nights. I like to listen to music and all but I myself can not tollerate anything loud. Yet i'm the one who got a letter taped to my door threatening to evict for noise violations. Meanwhile the complaining party's children bash and bang their skate boards around at all hours of the night and morning up and down the sidewalk infront of my bedroom window. You can't even have guests over to spend the night without getting the third degree...the management will even grill your guests if they venture out around the grounds alone to use the payphone or soda machine. I had my cousin come to visit me for two weeks this past month and after he was cornered out by the pool and harrassed, I was notified that anyone staying more than 3 nights a week had to sign the lease agreement. My cousin isn't even 18 and they want to force him to sign a lease! The not being able to have guests really doesn't bother me too much because my friends are afraid to come over now anyway. If they are not being harrassed by the manager thier cars are being burglarized. It's funny how the security gaurd is never around while crimes are being committed yet let me walk out to the store next door and back and I have to do everything but provide blood evidence as to my being a lease holder there. He even walked up to me one night as I was having a smoke outside my own front door and asked me who I was and if he could help me...help me with what''' smoke my ciggarette for me' Help me turn the door knob to let myself back into my apartment''' It's not as if he hasn't seen me a hundred times before! I guess I have just had a very bad expirience with the place and mabey i'm just being paranoid...I however and all of my friends work for one of the airlines here in Phoenix so you know we don't use drugs and cause trouble...we are professional, responsible people and yet i'm treated like i'm dealing crack or pimping prostitutes from out of my apartment. Glad to be going soon.
