Apartment Living from HELL!!!!! (seriously) From: Angel4lf@msn.com Date posted: 6/10/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004 1 response   I would not recommend ANYONE (not even my worse enemy) to live in Wyndham apartments on Van Buren. Ok where do I begin... well first of all the office staff are EXCELLENT TO SELL YOU A NIGHTMARE OF YOR LIFE. Of course they make it look all "great" to live here but DONT fall for it. Anyway to start with we had roaches and they did have pest control come out ONCE and even though we still complained about the bugs NOTHING was done beyond that. It wasn't just roaches either...they have a lot of nasty little creatures biting at your flesh through out the night....and day!! OK then theres the NEIGHBOURHOOD that this place is in...well just to inform you theres LOW INCOM HOUSING right on the other side of the WALL..yes I said WALL and people are constantly JUMPING over this wall to enter these apartments (pools, hot tubs..oh God thats an entire different story) And PROSTITUTES roam up and down Van Buren street all the time ..i guess thats why they refer to Van Buren as "hooker alley"...yikes. If thats not enough theres constant druggies and beggers in this "lovely" area as well. Make sure you get your "move in special:..ha ha thats a joke they need some kind of a special to get people in there! The noise level there is a HUGE problem. The will tell you its a "quite" community with "security" on patrol all the time...HA HA..NOT!! The neighbours have NO respect and they are all TRASH (wit hthe exception of a few just trying to get by and get the hell outta there). I promise you you will not be able to get a good night sleep here...the noise starts at about 9pm and doesnt stop until about 6am or when the police show up..thats IF they show up at all....ummm...have I sold you yet' LOL. The pool and hot tubs are NEVER cleaned although they may appear to be...all they do is dump HUGE amounts of chemicals in there to make it look nice and "fresh" to plunge right into! There are constatly people urinating and dropping feces into the pools and hot tub...gross I know. If this isn't enough and you still want to move in WELCOME TO THE ARMPIT OF PHOENIX!!
