Well, I've only lived here for two months now, and I unfortunately have to say that a lot of the negativity quoted here is true. Moving to Wyndham Park is a bad mistake.
I've had my car broken into and stuff taken out of it on the second month I was here. Two windows were smashed out, the dome lights were disabled (presumably so that they could do it under cover of darkness), and nobody saw or heard ANYTHING.
The "Security Guard" is apparently just the management company's way of looking like they're going through the motions because he goes off shift at midnight and I think he only works weekends. He is also unarmed, and could be easily neutralized by a crazed crack adict with a baseball bat.
As soon as I get $$$ to replace my windows, I plan on getting a car alarm and arming myself with a shotgun.
Also, there are tons of roaches, the plumbing leaks, and the cable they wire the apartments with is very low grade so as to allow for intermittant internet access (to add insult to injury, their are Cox brouchures in the rental office).
Insulation in these apartments is also crap. This would be fine if the HVAC system didn't draw so much power, but it do. 15 days of electricity ran me $80.
Overall, Wyndham Park is only slightly better than a slum.
