If I'm not careful, this could become a Magnum Opus about The Villager Apartments - so I'll be careful. :)
We moved in in late May of this year (2010). It was supposed to have been early April, but I ended up having severe health problems and was not able to keep the ball rolling in terms of deposits and paperwork. During the two months that I was out of the picture, Edvard could have, and by rights SHOULD have rented our apartment to someone that was slightly more likely of living long enough to pay the rent for a reasonable length of time, but he didn't and I'll be forever grateful to him for it.

My Wife and I fell in love with this place the first time we saw it. Reasonable rent, well kept buildings, apartments and neat grounds are the hallmarks of a well thought out, happy community. This community has a feel to it that I've rarely found in a rental - a sense of true community, of belonging - not just some hole-in-the-wall you end up at night to sleep - this is a place to call home and mean it. A place to stay and feel safe.

Parking is more than adequate and easily accessible to the complex. It's well lit and safe.

Children are allowed, yet the ones that live here are surprisingly quiet. Neighbors are friendly and willingly talk to one another - not the usual walk-by-quickly-with- your-eyes-averted-to-anywhere-but-the-other-person nonsense you find elsewhere.

My wife loves the Pot-lucks that come down the pike on a regular basis, as do I.

We intend to stay for as long as we're allowed to. All 7 of us. :)

We're Home.
