Quiet, safe, and clean--right here in the central city

I had been on the lookout for centrally located, single-level complexes that allowed pets; however, I didn't think I'd find one like the Villager. Well set back from the street with beautifully landscaped green areas, the community is like a little resort in the heart of Phoenix. The newly renovated pool and all-tile floors are a plus, too! The credit for the Villager's ambience goes to Edvard, our on-site owner-manager who acts more like a concierge than a landlord. Edvard knows all the tenants--and their animals--and is always ready to help. I've been here less than a month and already feel spoiled.
The Villager is an older complex, so its kitchens do not have garbage disposals or dishwashers. I rarely cook, so this doesn't trouble me at all; nevertheless, anyone looking for a "fully loaded" master chef's kitchen should be aware of this before visiting. Who knows? You may be won over anyway!
