The last review is crazy - it's only common sense that a Manager isn't going to start a job and that month be able to turn the whole place around. And on the same note, they wouldn't be able to make it turn into a dump in that amount of time either. Steve is a really nice guy -- straight shooter, great sense of humor, and really easy going. I have noticed all kinds of changes in the short amount of time he's been here. The "crime scene" was from a shooting -- NO ONE WAS SHOT -- from people he was evicting anyway for their constant noise disturbances. He has moved out a few people that were always causing trouble. I know these things as I am good friends with the old Assistant Manager who doesn't work there anymore, but only said great things about Steve and the changes he's made.
He's also done a lot of little things to spruce the place up -- added color to the office and front sign, cut back the trees everywhere, got new umbrellas for the pool, hired a new courtesy patrol officer.
I really find Villas on Bell to be a great place -- it was getting a little less desirable about 6 months ago, but honestly, Steve seems to really care about the place and making everyone feel safe and like they are a valued resident. Please check out the pics I took.
