Comment on Management

I have lived here for 4 years and there are many upgrades to the property since Angie and Milo have been here for the past few months. Angie, the manager, works hard in the office everyday and even comes into the office frequently after hours to accommodate the residents and extraordinary needs of the property, like pulling branches of the sidewalks after a storm. The staff members are seen often walking the grounds day and night to make certain everything is in order because residents depend on them! They are both very friendly and accommodating and I often see them saying hello to residents. Both have only worked here a short time and have made a big difference keeping this apartment complex clean, maintained, and safe for everyone. It's nice to know we are looking out for each other as a community should do! Unfortunately, things happen sometimes no matter where you may choose to live, expecially when renting an apartment. We often find that no matter what anyone does, there is always someone that continues to complain, yet continues to live there. Obviously, if they didn't like it well enough, they would have moved out! They have a system of laundry cards to purchase for laundering clothing and in order to get laundry money; we have to go into the office to do that. That may be a down side because Residents often complain amount not being able to get into the office to purchase the laundry cards, but most of those same residents that complain, are not paying their rent on time or have other problems and try to avoid management! It is the management's responsibility to put a stop to irresponsible behavior, friendly or not. My suggestion to the previous complaint would be to get your laundry cards when you pay your rent! And don't buy a laundry card for $5 bucks, get on for $20 or $40 at a time! You are probably one that slips the rent in the mailbox to avoid the manager because you have a personal problem with her! Maybe she told you to pick up your dog's poop or take your garbage to the dumpster instead of leaving it by your door! It is not the Manager or Maintenance man's responsibility, anywhere, to cater to your schedule to get things you request or to pick up after YOU! If you are asking the maintenance man to let you in the office when the office is closed, you are taking him from his job in the apartments. You have audacity to complain he's not doing his work when you are so selfish! Buy a house with a washer and dryer and maintain it to your own perfection! Vista Verde is an affordable, friendly, family oriented apartment community. I do not plan on moving out for a long time and hope this management staff stays for a very long time. As for those only posting complaints about management, which obviously is personal and unprofessional- there is so much more that this rental complex offers and that is why I continue to rent here!
