As a long time tenant here at Portofino, I take personal offense to the earlier review...this is wonderful place to live. Yes, there are problems, but that irresponsilbe posting was really very far out. As was stated earlier, the shooting incident was done by a visitor, not a tenant. This is an older complex, but very well kept up, maintenance rises to all emergency situations within minutes of them being reported, things do break down, the same everywhere, but they are repaired here in optimal time. The present management and staff see to that constantly. The grounds, the laundry, the pool, the spa, the weight room are kept up. The prices are reasonable the apartments have individual fenced patios, pets are welcome and tenants very responsible with them. All in all this is a very nice place to live, quiet, clean and continually improving the living experience. Presently they are installing gated security for additional safety of the tenants. I'm proud to call this home
