when i moved into this complex a little over a year ago when it was portofino at the lake i was really excited. lorie was pleasent and friendly and was egar to help.when i entered the office she not only knew me by name but also knew what apartment number i was. any maintenance issues that i had were taken care of promptly. security was always around and were friendly and helpful. since the switch over to waterfront apartments lorie has left the people in the office couldn't tell you who i was or which apartment i live in. their not as friendly. when i had a problem with the light by my front door being out it took several trips and phone calls and almost a week before it was fixed. which i felt was a safty issue due to the bushes and it being almost pitch dark by the door. security is nowhere to be found. not to mention the gardners need to wack the bush and use the leave blower in front of my bedroom window at seven in the morning at least one week. when i don't get up till at least eight or nine. i have rude people that park in my spot.though i have met some very fiendly people and wouldn't trade my up stair neighbor world i was alot happier before the change over and would of thought it through more before resigning my lease if i would of known that lorie was not going to cont' working and the staff were not going to be as proactive and helpful as she was.though this isn't the worst place to live and my complaints might sound trival i don't feel like compex lives up to the expections that i had when i first moved here.
