My husband and I moved down here from Wa State in April of this year and had found this complex online and had just rented the apartment without even seeing it, everything was fine until Augest when our crazy neighbor upstairs decided to turn on her faucet and just let it run, she ended up flooding their apartment and then flooding ours. So we told the landlord and she just had one of her maintnence guys come and "vacuum" up the water, our floor was completely saturated for 4 days, she finally came to the apartment the wednesday after it happenend, which was on saturday, and says "oh im not going to change the carpet its not that wet" and we were sooo mad, she didnt think and any mold was going to grow at all because mold doesnt grow out here. Well that next weekend i found two MUSHROOMS ground out of the corner of out carpet where the floor had been wet, i took a picture of them on my phone and ran up to the office to show them and she laughed at me when i told her i wanted her to have someone come and get them, so about 30mins later she came to the apartment and took the mushrooms in a bag to send them to get "tested" to find out what exactly there were...yeah. Then i asked her what i should do if more grow and she just simply said "pick them" and at that time i was pist, i said "No! i dont think that it is acceptable to come out into my living room everyday and pick mushrooms and i sure as hell am not going to take the chance at having my dog eat one of them." she seemed to think it was ok for me to pick them everyday if more grew, and then she said that they were not from the flooding that they were from a crack in the foundation. Well by time she got the results back we were so disgusted with the whole thing that we had moved out. DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!!!

Same thing happened to me. The upstairs neighbor was filling the bathtub and "forgot". They plug the overflow so of course it leaked into our apartment. Plugging the overflow is illegal by the way. My apartment ended up with mold and Cindy refused to pay my hotel bill while they "cleaned it up". Not to mention when I first moved in, the prior tenant used our Kids room to store his two dogs and urine was embedded in the concrete. Upon move out, she tried charging me for someone knocking out lights in the complex because he used to come over to my place. This guy visited 20 different people in the complex and she tried charging me. Up yours, Cindy. Do not move in this place whatsoever. There is nothing that would make me move back there.
