worst place by far From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/28/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006 1 response   I've lived in a lot of places, but I have to say that this is the worst of the bunch. I moved in here back in June of 2005, and I am so excited to finally move out. I put in my notice to vacate in March despite my lease not expiring until June. A majority of the residents here are very shady; walking past apartments that smell like weed with men who fawn over you is not a place I want to live at. Also, the management is terrible. When I moved in, I was told that we would have a fitness center in 2-3 months -- a year later and no fitness center. Also, the water is continually being shut off for the entire day (9 am - 4 pm) with notice only being out the evening before. I recently "lost" my parking spot; someone just gave it away to a new resident and instead of giving it back, I had to a new one that was even further away. Basically, I refuse to get home after dark because you just never know around here. Also, there are stray cats running around this complex all of the time - it's so dirty! As far as maintainence goes...well, if they'd ever fix anything, it would be nice. The lock on my door was broken and I had to beg someone to come down and fix it before they closed for the day. Also, I've had to wait upwards of a month for something to be fixed. And the things that were broken when I moved in almost a year ago are still broken. I've given up on them! They do bad work, if any at all. Every time I see prospective residents in the office, I want to reach out to them and tell them to get as far away from here as possible. It may be the cheapest place on the block, but I'd gladly pay more to live anywhere else!
