To Whom It May Concern:

Ever since the purchase of Wickertree apartments has happened, moral in the complex has taken a sudden and drastic dive.

No longer do I feel welcome to visit in the office. I either feel like the enemy when I approach the woman now working in the office (Is it Jessica' Jennifer' She has never bothered to introduce herself to me, so honestly, I don t care), or I feel guilty that John has one more thing to add to his already full plate, and has to stop and help me. I have seen that poor Man literally running from office to gate when the power was out, dripping in sweat, out of breath and still greeting every single person that enters the office with a smile. I have seen him outside holding Ladders for the maintenance men (who I have never met either, and STILL have work orders out!), baking cookies, and being the bared of bad news, for things, by no fault of his, have been completely and utterly messed up by incompetent management. I have never once heard him complain or so much as say a single negative thing about the new company, if he has a brother please hire him. And while you re at it, please hire Andrea, Stephanie and everyone else back too.

With Andrea, Stephanie and John, the office was a comfortable and friendly place. Anyone could stop by for a visit, a cookie and a friendly chatter. On several occasions, Andrea HERSELF came out to check on my apartment after a major emergency work order, just to make sure everything was ship shape. Stephanie was always willing to work with residents on rent payments, and was happy to answer questions about what was due, and why fees were accessed. She worked WITH us, and not AGAINST us in making it month to month. We had community parties, where all staff attended, on their days off, and NOT because they were required, but because they wanted to. Most of the staff lived on property; they were my neighbors and my friends.

Another concern I would like to address is your lack of a maintenance staff. I have seen one older gentleman running around the property on the roof and that is IT! I have placed calls to the afterhour s hotline with NO answer. I have put work orders in with the office, and nothing happens. I know that certain things like broken ACs and water problems come first, but how long does it take to answer something' Do you even have more than 1 person employed' Before, we had a staff of 3, and they were all friendly, and lived on property, and came if not, the same day, the very next day to fix anything from my glass door being off track, or a toilet that wouldn t stop running. They even came to help me change my air filters if I asked. Edmund, Chris and forgive me for forgetting the last fellows name, were irreplaceable, but I did not think literally. We are in the middle of the largest unemployment binge since the 20 s and you re telling me you can t find replacements' Or perhaps you think one man is enough. I beg to differ, and so do my work orders.

My biggest complaint is not being given the option to terminate my lease when a lesser management company purchased the property, and messed everything up.

And No, I will not sign my name the last thing I need is a some sort of a fee for being rude Only a few more months and I am OUT of here.

I have to totally agree with what you said about the old staff. THEY ROCKED! And that included maintence staff. There would be times my husband would stop in the office to relay that we had a problem and more than once maintence would beat him home!! Always nice, friendly. New maintence, not so much. Took 3 days for them to reply this last time. Big change when your used to prompt responce. And now i'm bummed because before when they would have parties I wouldn't be able to attend because of work. Now i'm staying at home with our child full time and would of loved to go to a few of the apartment parties. But it looks like the new management isn't intrested in sponsering one. Nore do they put out the monthly flyer, which I enjoyed because it gave us a heads up on things going on. And whats going on with the water? No notice when they are going to turn it off? I have a child! It would of been nice to know I wasn't going to have any water for him! I can understand having problems with the pipes, yet this has been an ongoing problem and i've noticed there wasn't one time we wern't warned ahead of time before managment changed hands. Why can't the new management offer the same?
